Designed by Tadao Ando, Koshino House is set into a wooded hillside in Ashiya, Japan. Two parallel concrete volumes follow the slope of the site, connected by an underground corridor and separated by a courtyard. A curved studio was added later.
The photographs show the concrete architecture among the surrounding trees, with light and shadow changing across its surfaces.
